I can't believe that school is already back in session! It's so crazy that the fall and cooler weather will be here before we know it. I never thought I'd be the mom who is excited for school to start, but I totally am this year! My girls are getting older which also means very dramatic. But I will miss their help with my twins!
My girls (and I) LOVE shopping for new school clothes and supplies. I love the idea of making them a Back To School Box just as a little surprise to get them excited for the new year and feel like they're all ready for the next big grade. I know some of your kids have already started school but don't worry, kids always love surprises and new things so this is a hit anytime of the year.
What I was most excited to share with you guys on this blog, is most of the things I put in the boxes, I found at the Dollar Store. Score!! Some other things I found at other stores but all in all, these were pretty cheap to make and my girls LOVED them so much! Here is what items I found that were great for my girl's ages. You can just use this as a brainstorming blog and make it your own and personal for your kiddos.
Back to School Boxes
I got the basics and a few things I know they will use and love. This is to get them excited for school and just a cute little surprise from their mama.
How to wrap these boxes
If you ask anyone who knows me and presents, they will all tell you that it's all about the wrap to me! Haha. I will easily spend more money and time on the wrapping than the actual present.. Am I the only one?? So for these, I just kept it simple and put the supplies in a colored basket. Then I just found some cute school themed ribbon and made a little card with their name on it and wrote an encouraging note on the back that is just personal to them from their mama.
I know some of you, like me, are also a little sad that your kids are on to the next grade. I think most parents have mixed feelings about it. It's definitely bittersweet. But I will say, isn't it great to see your kids grow? We are so lucky to raise these little humans.
Back To School Clothes
I can't even tell you how in love we are with all the new SIP fall and back to school outfits! These are two of our faves and they are on the site now!
Jordyn is wearing the Black/White Plaid Dress w/ Mustard Scarf. So adorable!!! Find super cute dresses here.
And little miss Tennley is looking so stinkin' cute in the Plum Floral Suspender Skirt. And aren't they just the cutest?! Try out our suspender skirts range.
I hope this school year is a fun and safe one for you and your kids. Oh, the places they'll go.❤️
Love Always, Jessie
